Adaptive Behavior of Perceptual Information Processing
نویسنده
چکیده
A robust method of intelligent information processing with respect to user’s perception of data, named Perceptual Information Processing (PIP), is being studied. This method uses fuzzy sets as the representation of user perceptions and a soft computing method called Mass Assignment Theory (MAT) the computational core to manage consistencies between histograms of actual data and the fuzzy sets. This paper describes PIP’s adaptive behavior such that user perception is reinforced as it is applied to recognize a data set.

Caregivers’ Perspective About the Levels of Sensory Processing Problems in Children With Autism
Background: Children with autism should interact and get along with their surrounding environment. Therefore, the researchers must try to explain the reasons of challenges in their adaptive behaviors. This study aimed to evaluate levels of challenges in sensory processing and the motor domain of adaptive behavior among children with autism in Egypt, and to explore the effect of sensory processi...
متن کاملLocally - Adaptive Perceptual Quantization without Side Informationfor DCT
Existing JPEG/MPEG compliant perceptual coding methods do not fully exploit the local variation of perceptual masking thresholds. This work demonstrates that, for natural images with the same perceptual quality, the rst-order entropy of the quantizer outputs can be reduced by 15 to 40 percent when optimal locally-adaptive perceptual quantization is used. Locally-adaptive perceptual quantization...

Objective: A variety of evidence demonstrate altered perceptual functioning during visual processing in the brain of children with autism.it possibly is related to or the cause other diagnostic symptom in autism spectrum. In the present study visual perceptual organization in autistic children is studied. These processes require central coherence and typical functional connectivity among neural...
متن کاملAtypical Gaze Behavior in Children with High Functioning Autism During an Active Balance Task
Background. Unusual gaze behavior in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) was reported very early in the literature. Objectives. The current study examined gaze behavior in children with ASD and typically developing (TD) children while performing an active balance task on the Wii balance board. Methods: 8 children (male) diagnosed with high-functioning ASD and 9 TD children (3 female, ...
